H2O-Mobile: The Car of the Future
Our planet is made up of over 70-percent water and it's an omnipotent part of our everyday lives. It is widely known that water has an array of important uses including the ability to produce energy, but many people are unaware that their cars can also be run on this energy.
Hydro-electric power is a term that, to most people, is characterized as a very large damn with water running through it and turning a turbine, therefore producing energy. This is a common practice and it works great, but it is not the only way to make energy from water. Thanks to hydro-electric power we can run many things on water, and we now we can also build a car running on water.
As you may know, water is comprised of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom (H2O). Oxy-hydrogen, however, is also a made of the same combination of atoms (H2O). Unlike water which is a liquid at room temperature, oxy-hydrogen is a gas at room temperature. Oxy-hydrogen, like water, has an array of uses. Much of oxy-hydrogen's practical uses occur in factories and large industries for the melding of glass, metal and other materials. Oxy-hydrogen is safe because it is naturally inflammable just like water. Since water and oxy-hydrogen are comprised of the exact same materials it is easily possible to convert water into oxy-hydrogen.
But what can oxy-hydrogen actually be used for? The process of turning water into oxy-hydrogen is a chemical reaction known as electrolysis. Since oxy-hydrogen is not a flammable chemical it can be combined with gasoline to run a car. Oxy-hydrogen, when combined with gasoline in a vehicle, gives additional energy to a auto and can also greatly increase a car's mileage.
Unfortunately, a car cannot be run on oxy-hydrogen alone, but it is definitely a relief from the upwardly-expensive gas pumps. A car that runs on water is not a brand new idea. Scientific research has proven that oxy-hydrogen can act as a fuel in cars and actually help your vehicle, proving that it is possible to run your car on water. This information has not been made public thanks to oil companies greatly benefiting our governmental officials as they would not want to lose any money.
Oil production, in fact, has been the single highest source of income for many countries and has given some countries more power than they would have without oil. Due to oil's rising cost this information on running cars on water stays a secret by politicians as this information would cause the cost of oil to plummet. This will not only cause the oil companies to fail, but it would cause some entire countries to go down as well. As previously mentioned, water is comprised of two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.
When an electric current passes through water hydrogen can be released. This simple form of hydrogen is what can be used for a car run on water. Water cannot run a car alone; a mixture of water and gasoline is required due to the high amount of electricity that it takes to run a car. You can successfully do this, and it clearly has many benefits including helping keep some money in your pocket.
